North American Crane is the largest manufacturer of telescoping and knuckle-boom type cranes for use in marine applications in the Western United States. Our marine cranes are marketed under the " Marine Crane" trade name, and include pedestal-mounted boom cranes with lifting capacities ranging from two tons to two hundred tons. Typical applications include:
- Vessel, or dock-mounted cranes for loading and unloading product and
materials on or offshore.
- Cranes and davits for rescue-boat and lifeboat applications.
- Barge-mounted cranes for handling hoses in the transfer and storage
of petroleum products.
- Workboat and custom applications, such as ship-mounted cranes to
launch and recover remote operated vehicles (ROV's), or towing sidescan
sonar arrays.
- Cranes used in municipal, solid-waste sorting and compacting at
Transfer Stations.
These cranes function in the harsh marine
environment. Our company uses specialized parts, fittings and finishes.
This, together with good workmanship and documented manufacturing and
testing procedures, has established an excellent reputation for our
products. A significant percentage of our business is generated from
satisfied customers as well as referrals from them.
We have an
installed base of over 1,500 Marine Cranes. In order to ensure timely
service to our customers, we are positioned to provide a prompt response
to requests for parts and technical support.
Our Management, Sales
and Engineering personnel have in-depth expertise in the design,
manufacture and applications of hydraulic cranes. We are fortunate to have
a solid group of Production employees with lengthy experience in the
